Williard Curis Cooper, 81, of 2111 Fieldcrest Rd. Wilson, NC died April 29, 2014 in Wake Medical Center Raleigh, NC. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at St. Rose Church of Christ 605 S. Douglas Street Wilson, NC with Elder Mary Jo Atkinson, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. Survivors include his children Gregory Cooper (Annette) of Springlake, NC and Jacqueline Berry of Wilson, NC; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; six sisters and a host of other relatives and many friends. Public viewing will be Friday from 2 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Family and friends are requested to assemble on Saturday at the residence at 1:00pm for the funeral procession to the church.
