Mary Carolyn Williams Joyner, 69, of Charlotte, NC died September 1, 2015. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 1pm at St. Rose Disciples of Christ Church 605 Douglaas St. Wilson NC with Dr Tyrone Jones III officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday in Charlotte, NC. Family and friends are requested to assemble at Edwards Funeral Home on Wednesday at noon in preparation for the funeral procession to the church. Mary Carolyn truly treasured and loved everyone in her family, even more so her adopted family. She is survived and greatly missed by her three brothers, Raymond W. Williams(Lynn), St Petersburg, FL, Wade Williams(Martha) of Randallstown, MD, and Roscoe Earl Harvey of the home, Charlotte, NC; and three sisters, Katherine Algood of Mineola, TX, Helen King of St. Petersburg, FL, and Olive L. Harvey of the home; one aunt, Louvenia Pender of Washington, DC; a special granddaughter, Kanani Rogers of Greensboro, NC; her beloved niece, Linda Faye Bynum of Wilson, NC, and her special nieces, Kayla Harvey, Sharon and Cedria Halley of Charlotte, NC, Debra and Cynthia Pender of Wilson, NC; and several nephews, Anthony Earl Ellis of Suffolk, VA, Roscoe Law, Quantae Harvey and Larry Halley, all of Charlotte, NC. She had many cherished friends, including Ms. Sue and Ms. Carolyn of Charlotte, NC and a host of other relatives and friends. Public viewing will take place at the church from 12 to 1:00pm on Wednesday. Services are entrusted to EDWARDS FUNERAL HOME 805 E. Nash Street Wilson, NC.
