Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Braswell Mann, 75 of Rocky Mount, NC, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at UNC Nash Hospital in Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2 pm at St. James MB Church. 527 E. Thomas Street in Rocky Mount, NC. The Rev. Dr. James T. Worthy will be officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane. Public viewing and the wake will be held on Friday, March 10 ^th at the church from 5 pm to 7 pm with the family receiving friends at that time.

Survivors include her children, Calvin Q. Mann, Sr., Lonnie E. Mann, Michael L. Mann [Ying-Li], Reginald A. Mann and Ivory C. Mann, Jr; grandchildren, Jalecia Mann and Calvin Mann, Jr; and stepdaughter, Patricia Edwards [Donnie]; siblings, William M. Braswell, Sr. [Patricia], Madeline Hargrove, Patricia Thompson [John], Evelyn Alston, Beulah D. Braswell, Roscoe Braswell, and Irma Purvis [Elbert]; aunt, Dorothy D. Hall; in-laws, Lillie Mae Daniels, Deborah Taylor [James], Bessie Johnson [Phillip] and Loretta Addison [Tommie], William Mann, Sr. [Tonie], Johnny Mann, R.V. Mann, Sr., Bobby Mann, Sr. [Jane], Alphonso Mann [Hattie] and Nelson Mann [Linda]

The family will assemble Saturday at 1 pm at the residence for the procession to the church.
