Joseph Edwards, 74, of 2014 Longview Drive Wilson, NC died March 8, 2014 in Lifecare Hospital Rocky Mt., NC The funeral will be held Friday at 1:00pm at St. Rose Church of Christ 605 Douglas Street Wilson, NC with Rev Lester Fisher, Presiding and Rev. Alonzo Bragg eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. Survivors include his loving wife Alice Edwards of the home; son, Joseph "Jody' Edwards of Raleigh; daughters, Stacey Edwards of the home and Ramone Edwards Taylor of Wilson; Grandchildren, Maya, Kameron, And Jameson; Sisters, Deloris Mitchell and Rose Harris of Wilson, and Romaine Cubbage of Philadelphia, Pa.; Brothers John Edwards of Greensboro and Henry Edwards of Coatesville, Pa.; Sister-in-law, Rachel S. Sheff of Tobaccoville, NC and a host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends. a special friend, Moses Barnes of Stantonsburg, NC There will be no public viewing however a memorial video will play continuously from 3 to 6pm at the funeral home.
