Mr. Joseph Henry Green, 60 of Fremont, NC, died on November 19, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. Obituary

Joseph Henry Green, the only child born of Joseph Newsome and Corine Green, was born, reared, and educated in Wayne County.  In later years, he resided, worked, and spent his life in the Town of Fremont and in Wayne County.  Having never married, he seemed to have enjoyed solitude and living "the quiet life".  As his health failed, he became a resident of the Fremont Rest Center.

He is survived by his maternal aunt, Mrs. Mary Green Herring and several cousins.  His maternal grandparents, George and Maggie Green, and his maternal uncles, George "Tom", Roosevelt, Daniel, and Kenneth Green, preceded him in death.
