John Julius Baines, 73 of Wilson, North Carolina, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Zion Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, 810 Black Creek Road SE, Wilson, NC with Rev. Douglas Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Garden Cemetery. Public viewing will be on Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel 805 Nash Street East, Wilson, NC.
