Vernon Baptist Church 904 South Alston Street Nashville, NC with Bishop Michael Deloach, officiating and Bishop Brian Alston, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Nashville, NC. Public viewing will be held Friday from 2-7 pm at the funeral home. The body will lie in state from 11:00am to 1PM on Saturday at the church. The family will receive friends at all times at the residence where they will assemble on Saturday at 12 noon for the processional to the church.
