Flordie L. Faison, 93,of 200 West Garner Street died July 30, 2013 at Kitty Askins Healthcare in Goldsboro, NC. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30pm at Contending For The Faith Church Ministries 1006 Academy Street Wilson, NC, where Elder Damenion Royal is the pastor, with Rev. John Neal officiating.Interment will follow in Hamilton Burial Gardens, Wilson, NC. Public viewing will be held Saturday from 2-7pm with the family meeting and greeting friends from 6-7pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Faison was preceded in death by her husband Ellard James "Buddy" Faison and her parents James and Ethel Neal Lucas. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Ethel Lewis (Roy) and Senora Faison Bulluck both of Wilson, NC; four sons, James A. Faison of Wilson, NC, Bruce Faison of the home,Robert Earl Faison of Bailey, NC, and Rickey Faison (Betsy) of Newark, NJ; a special nephew, Freeman "Bro" Faison of Wilson, NC; one brother, James Lucas of Selma, NC; one step-brother, Leslie Farmer, Jr. of Wilson, NC; and one foster sister, Margaret Caldwell of Fayetteville, NC; 21 grand children; 36 great grand children; one great great grand child other relatives and many friends.
