Edward L Richardson,Sr. 78, of Richmond, Va. and formerly of Nash County, NC died October 11, 2014 in Richmond, Va. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2:00pm in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward L. Richardson, Jr, eulogist and Dr. Tyrone P. Jones III officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Military Cemetery with military honors. Edward is survived by his loving wife Patricia S. Richardson; one son,Rev. Edward L. Richardson, Jr; one daughter, Angelina O'Grady; 4-grandchildren 2-great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Peggy Speight and other relatives and many friends. Public viewing will be Friday from 3pm to 8pm at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 7-8pm.
