Mr. Calvin Q. Mann, Sr., 58 of Boonsboro, MD, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 11:00 am at St. James MB Church, 527 E. Thomas Street in Rocky Mount, NC. The Rev. Dr. James T. Worthy will be officiating. Burial with military rites will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane. Public viewing and the wake will be held on Friday, May 12 ^th at the church from 5 pm to 7:30 pm with the family receiving friends at that time.

Survivors include his children, daughter, Jalecia H. Mann and son, Calvin Q. Mann, Jr. their mother Mildred Parham; brothers: Lonnie E. Mann, Michael L. Mann [Ying-Li], Reginald A. Mann, Ivory C. Mann, Jr. and sister, Patricia Edwards [Donnie]; maternal aunts and uncles: William M. Braswell, Sr. [Patricia], Madeline Hargrove, Patricia Thompson [John], Evelyn Alston, Beulah D. Braswell, Roscoe Braswell, and Irma Purvis [Elbert]; paternal aunts and uncles: Lillie Mae Daniels, Deborah Taylor [James], Bessie Johnson [Phillip], Loretta Addison [Tommie], William Mann, Sr. [Tonie], Johnny Mann, R.V. Mann, Sr., Bobby Mann, Sr. [Jane], Alphonso Mann [Hattie] and Nelson Mann [Linda]; great aunts, Dorothy D.
